In 2011, my triplets were born extremely early, at 24 weeks of pregnancy. One of my sons suffered a lack of oxygen that led to brain damage (periventricular leukomalacia) and infantile cerebral palsy.
After four years of intensive daily therapy, I was deeply frustrated: his development had stalled. He mostly lay on his back, listless and uninterested in his surroundings. At the same time, I myself was suffering from severe back pain and exhaustion.
Searching for new paths, I came across the Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement®, at the time still unknown in Germany. Without hesitation, I traveled with my son to California.
The result was overwhelming: after just 20 sessions, he made progress that had seemed impossible over the previous four and a half years. My own chronic back pain disappeared as early as the second day of my ABM training and never returned.
My triplets are now 15 years old. My son remains severely limited and uses a wheelchair. But thanks to the method, he communicates willingly and makes himself understood, has largely regained the use of his right arm, can turn over on the floor, and can crawl forward. His core muscles have grown stronger, and he now holds his head upright.
What began as help for my child became my calling. Every day I see how many people are inadequately supported by the healthcare system. My goal is to offer this holistic approach as an effective alternative to conventional medicine and to accompany families individually along the way.
My enthusiasm and ongoing training help me give those affected lasting improvements in their quality of life.
